Beauty and The Beast
So much stone! Still, it was a pleasure as always to work with a good team.
Challenges for this production included building in enough texture and depth to read from a large distance. Scenic peices needed to be easy to maneuver by highschool theatre artists, as well as flat enough to maximize dance spacefor a sizable cast. Director Tim Pollack gave me lots of room to play with color, drawing inspiration from provincial French villages.
